Ellis Bridge, Ahmadabad

Ellis Bridge is old bridge situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It connects the western and eastern parts of the city over the Sabarmati river. This bowstring curve truss connect was the primary scaffold of Ahmedabad built in 1892. Later new solid wings were developed on either side in 1997 and it was renamed as Swami Vivekananda Bridge however is as yet known to individuals by its old name.
